The Hovey-Kan Dojo Association was founded by Hanshi Kaszuo (Karl) Hovey (10th Dan, Isshinryu). While primaily known in Isshinryu, Hanshi Hovey is respected by many other styles and organizations. The association was founded with the purpose of fostering frienship, learning and camaraderie between schools, styles, and organizations. The Hovey-Kan Dojo Association welcomes memberships from other martial arts styles and organizations.
