With over 40 years of experience, he holds the prestigious rank of 9th Degree Black Belt, a testament to his lifelong dedication to the Okinawan martial arts. Known for his technical prowess and analytical approach to Bunkai(application), Hanshi Henry has become a respected voice in the global Isshinryu community.

Refining the core eight empty-hand forms of Isshinryu for power and economy of motion. He has studied Jujitsu, Judo, and Kobudo among other Marital Arts. Instruction in the Bo, Sai, and Tonfa, emphasizing the historical relationship between weaponry and empty-hand defense.
